Our story
A family stone house, now in its second generation
Stonedge grew out of decades in the marble trade, and we still choose stone the way our family always has — block by block, slab by slab, inspected in daylight for colour, soundness and the movement of its veins. Only stone that meets that standard reaches your project.
Today we supply Italian marble, Indian marble, granite, quartzite and travertine, onyx and sandstone to homeowners, architects, interior designers and builders across Ahmedabad. In our own workshop every slab is cut, book-matched and finished — polished to a mirror, honed to a soft matt, leathered or brushed — so each surface is as distinctive as the space it belongs to. From a single book-matched feature wall to the flooring of an entire residential tower, one team looks after your stone — from selection to handover. Read our story.
- Hand-selected slabs
- Every slab inspected for colour, soundness and veining — you choose real stone, not catalogue photos.

- Signature finishes
- Polished, honed, leathered and book-matched surfaces, crafted in our own workshop.

Our philosophy
A decision that defines how a space feels, how it ages, and how it is remembered.
Stone is born in nature — silent, timeless.
Every block carries a story, shaped by pressure, time and earth.
Chosen with intention, it becomes more than a surface:
the soul of the project.
Define your signature.
Man of Stone Where stone becomes signature. Born in nature. Shaped into identity.

Questions about buying marble in Ahmedabad
Where can I see Italian marble slabs in Ahmedabad?
At the Stonedge Display Center on VIP Road, S.P. Ring Road in Shela (near Bharat Petrol Pump). Full slabs are displayed so you can judge veining, colour and finish in daylight before you choose. We are open Mon–Sat 10 am – 7 pm · Sun 10 am – 2 pm; a quick call before you visit helps us keep the right stones ready.
Do you supply both Italian marble and Indian marble?
Yes. We stock imported marbles such as Statuario, Carrara, Michelangelo and Pluto White, and fine Indian marbles from Rajasthan and across India, every lot hand-selected for colour and quality. Many homes combine both: Italian marble for living areas and feature walls, Indian marble for larger floor areas.
How is the price of marble or granite decided?
Price depends on the variety and its grade, slab size and thickness, the finish (polished, honed, leather), the quantity you need and any fabrication such as book-matching, edge profiles or cut-outs. Because these vary so much, we quote after understanding your area and application rather than publishing a single rate.
Do you also cut, fabricate and install the stone?
Yes. Our in-house workshop handles cutting, edge profiling, book-matching, countertop cut-outs and finishing, and our project team manages laying and installation for homes, offices and hospitality projects. One team from slab selection to handover means fewer gaps and better results.
Which stone is best for a kitchen countertop?
Granite and natural quartzite are the most practical choices: they resist heat, scratches and everyday stains far better than marble. Marble can be used in kitchens if you accept a natural patina and seal it regularly. Our guide on choosing granite for kitchen countertops explains the trade-offs.
Do you work outside Ahmedabad?
Most of our work is in Ahmedabad and across Gujarat, and we also take on larger projects elsewhere — for example our marble work at Sayaji Hotel in Udaipur. Share your location and project details and we will confirm what is possible.
